Astrónomos de la Agrupación Astrónomica de Sabadell junto con los Técnicos de Operaciones Telescópicas del Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias, Marta Puig Subirà y Miguel Rodríguez Alarcón, han detectado el tránsito del exoplaneta WASP-156b, catalogado como un objetivo de alta prioridad por el proyecto Exoclock. La profundidad del tránsito detectado fue de tan solo 6 milimagnitudes y contribuirá a mejorar las efemérides disponibles para la misión ARIEL (Atmospheric Remote-sensing Infrared Exoplanet Large-survey) de la Agencia Espacial Europea.
