  • CONCERTO: Instrument and status

CONCERTO (CarbON CII line in post-rEionization and ReionizaTiOn) is a low-resolution Fourier transform spectrometer dedicated to the study of star-forming galaxies and clusters of galaxies in the transparent millimeter windows from the ground. It is characterized by a wide instantaneous 18.6 arcmin field of view, operates at 130-310 GHz, and was

  • Estimation of the hydrostatic-to-lensing mass bias from resolved cluster masses

We present a study on the bias of hydrostatic masses with respect to lensing mass estimates for a sample of 53 clusters in a redshift range between z = 0.05 and 1.07. The M 500 mass for each cluster was inferred from X-ray and lensing data, without using a priori observable-mass scaling relations. Cluster masses of our reference analysis were

  • Generating galaxy clusters mass density maps from mock multiview images via deep learning

Galaxy clusters are composed of dark matter, gas and stars. Their dark matter component, which amounts to around 80% of the total mass, cannot be directly observed but traced by the distribution of diffused gas and galaxy members. In this work, we aim to infer the cluster's projected total mass distribution from mock observational data, i.e. stars

  • IRAM 30-meter millimeter follow-up of deep OSIRIS-GTC optical surveys

It is broadly accepted that CO is a reliable tracer of H2 in massive IR (L IR ≳ 10 9 L ⊙) galaxies, and that there are clear correlations between L IR and L' CO that are qualitatively independent of environment and even redshift. We present two tales on the search for 12CO emission from dusty star-forming galaxies in both field (Lockman Hole, z < 0

  • The European Low Frequency Survey. Observing the radio sky to understand the beginning of the Universe

In this paper we present the European Low Frequency Survey (ELFS), a project that will enable the detection of primordial B-mode polarization by measuring the Galactic and extra-Galactic foregrounds in the 5- 120 GHz frequency window. Indeed, the main difficulty in measuring the Bmode polarization comes not just from its sheer faintness, but from

  • The NIKA2 Sunyaev-Zeldovich Large Program. Sample and upcoming product public release

The NIKA2 camera operating at the IRAM 30-m telescope excels in high-angular resolution mapping of the thermal Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect towards galaxy clusters at intermediate and high-redshift. As part of the NIKA2 guaranteed-time, the SZ Large Program (LPSZ) aims at tSZ-mapping a representative sample of SZ-selected galaxy clusters in the
