Description
The MASCARA/bRing network consists of four separate observatories, located in La Palma, La Silla, Sutherland, and Siding Springs, and searches for exoplanet transits around bright stars. The three southern hemisphere stations allow for near continuous observations between the declination range of -30 to -90 degrees. These stations are sensitive to exoplanets which are extremely useful for further exoplanet atmospheric characterization, because of their size, periods, and host stars. This network can be used with TESS to search for exoplanets with periods greater than thirty days, by using the information obtained from a single observed transit from TESS to constrain different parameters used in the algorithm search of MASCARA.
