Description
Comparisons of visible/NIR and FIR/submm data are investigated on
several spatial scales in and around the OMC-1, OMC-2 and OMC-3
star-forming regions in Orion A. Our conclusions are that the magnetic
field orientations observed in the filaments are smoothly consistent
with the ones probed around OMC-1, OMC-2 and OMC-3. Analysis of NIR and
submm polarimetry around the BN object suggests that a rotation of the
magnetic field orientation by ≍ 40° could exist along
lines-of-sight in this region of the galaxy.
