Description
In this work we present a real-time pipeline for space debris studies in the IAC80 telescope. CCD images are reduced, satellite or space debris trails are detected and characterized, astrometric reduction is performed and a quality control is applied in order to reject outliers from the solutions. As a final product we obtain the equatorial coordinates and apparent magnitude of the observed objects. The pipeline will be standardized to be used by other professional telescopes. This work will contribute to have a global network of telescopes devoted to space debris studies and satellite tracking.
