Description
The paper describes a method for obtainiing expressions for the probability density of structures defined by d degrees of freedom in a Poissonian distribution of points. Procedures for determining the coefficients that appear in these expressions are presented; and the connection (in the high-density limit) with Gaussian random fields is considered. The results are of interest in connection with the investigation of the probabilities of large voids in the distribution of galaxies.
