Description
We present an analysis of the spectroscopic properties of the Lixiaohua asteroid family, which hosts two main-belt comets. This study will enhance our knowledge of how primitive asteroids were formed and the abundance of their water reservoir. Mapping the water abundance among the Solar System small body populations is a key constrain to understand the origin and evolution of our planetary system. In special, it can shed light to the origin of the Earth's volatiles, which is now believed to have come from asteroids.
