The purpose of the grants is to train doctors by financing employment contracts, under the predoctoral contract modality, so that predoctoral research staff in training can carry out a doctoral thesis associated with a research project financed by the grants for R&D projects of the State Subprogram for Knowledge Generation within the framework of the State Program to Promote Scientific-Technical Research and its Transfer, within the framework of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2021-2023.
The aim is to train new generations of professionals who will acquire the necessary skills for research within top-level research teams, including the promotion of mobility through short stays in other national and international centres, infrastructures and scientific and technological facilities. The grants will cover the following items: the cost of hiring, the cost of compensation upon termination of the contract and the expenses derived from the completion of stays in R&D centres and registration in doctoral courses.
