Within the general objective of enhancing the competitiveness of SECTI agents, this call specifically promotes the incorporation of consolidated talent in public universities and public research organizations, defined in article 47 of Law 14/2011, of June 1, of Science, Technology and Innovation, with the aim of continuing to ensure academic excellence and the presence of cutting-edge research in these institutions, for which at least a percentage of 60% (15,000,000 euros) will be allocated ) of the total budget of the call for the financing of actions in this type of entities.
A consolidated researcher, of recognized international prestige, is considered to be people who meet criteria such as being among the 10% of most outstanding researchers in their area of specialization at a global level, being a researcher responsible for a project active member of the European Research Council (ERC), have the highest level of academic/research career in the country of origin, or have directed as PI a significant number of research projects in competitive calls, whether national of any country or international, having made contributions of great relevance and impact in his area of specialization throughout his career.
Fundable concepts of the action: the cost of contracting the IP, the costs of executing a research project, and the costs of establishing and/or improving facilities and equipment.
