The negotiations about the large telescopes and the Budget of the Institute were the main subjects discussed

Researchers from the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) are part of a team of European astronomers which have managed to classify, using the VISTA telescope of the European Southern Observatory (ESO) some 40,000 minor bodies of the Solar System which could help to answer key questions about their origins.

The journalist and writer is the third author to participate in the multidisciplinary project “En un lugar del Universo” which blends literature and astronomy during the IV centenary of the death of Cervantes. He will arrive today at the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory.
