    The role of activity complexes in the distribution of solar magnetic fields.
    Using published data on the large-scale distribution of solar activity, the authors conclude that the longlived coronal holes are formed and maintained by the unbalanced magnetic flux which developes at both extremes of the complexes of activity.

    Stromgren and infrared photometry of OB candidates in the association Cygnus OB2
    The Cygnus OB2 association contains some of the most massive and most luminous O-stars in the northern hemisphere. As a first step toward studying the initial mass function of Cyg OB2, uvby and JHKL-prime photometry were obtained for about 80 OB candidates in the region.
