Specialised forecasting (system ForO)

Prediction generated and validated by the Sky Quality Team of specialised atmospheric parameters impacting on the optical quality of the astronomical observations with the system Forecasting the Observatories (ForO). ForO is an atmospheric prediction platform developed by the IAC based on the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) numerical weather prediction model.

Operational weather forecast meteograms generated and validated by the Izaña Atmospheric Research Centre (IARC) of the Spanish State Meteorological Agency (AEMet) using the numerical weather prediction model of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) under request of the IAC.
