Mr. Wayne Rosing, founder and director of the Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope Network, will discuss their plans to build a global network of more than thirty telescopes equipped with a homogeneous instrumental system. The software will be optimized for robotic observing. LCOGT will be specializing in follow up of fast transient objects, particularly those triggered from the emerging wide field survey telescopes.
