Descripción
For a decade now, d Scuti stars are considered as very good candidates for asteroseismology and a lot of efforts have been made to fit the increasing number of detected modes with stellar models. While most of the delta Scuti stars are fast rotators (Vsini between 100 and 200 km/s), the importance of this parameter in the theoretical interpretations is not yet fully measured. We present an effect of fast rotation hitherto neglected in d Scuti stars modelling. We give a quantitative estimation of this effect and we show it has to be taken into account.
