Next Wednesday, 5 April, at the headquarters of the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias (IAC) in La Laguna, the first images obtained by the DRAGO-2 infrared space camera, developed in the Canary Islands by the IACTEC-Space team and launched into space on 4 January, will be presented. Designed, manufactured, launched into space and operational in record time, the DRAGO cameras place the Canary Islands as a benchmark in space technology.

Attending:

Enrique Arriaga Álvarez, First Vice-President and Island Councillor for Roads, Mobility, Innovation and Culture of the Cabildo of Tenerife.
Miguel Belló Mora, Commissioner for Aerospace PERTE.
Rafael Rebolo López, director of the IAC.
Álex Oscoz Abad, principal investigator of the IACTEC Space project.

The presentation will start at 11:00 a.m. and will be followed by a press conference at 11:30 a.m.
