  • Physical Properties of the Solar Magnetic Photosphere under the MISMA Hypothesis. II. Network and Internetwork Fields at the Disk Center
This paper is the second in a series that models photospheric magnetic structures in terms of atmospheres having optically thin fluctuations of magnetic field and thermodynamic state (the MISMA hypothesis). We apply an inversion procedure to the polarization of Fe I λ6301.5 and Fe I λ6302.5 observed in network and internetwork regions with the

  • Optical Surface Photometry of a Sample of Disk Galaxies. I. Observations and Data Reduction
We present accurate optical surface photometry in the U, B, V, R, and I passbands for 11 disk galaxies. The sample has been selected in order to study the different morphological structures present in disk galaxies and includes all morphological types. For each galaxy, we present surface brightness, ellipticity, and position angle radial profiles

  • Observing B-type pulsators with MONS
We overview the different classes of B-type pulsators and show from our ground-based data that current data sets are insufficient to derive the complete frequency spectrum. From line-profile studies, we find that many modes with small amplitudes are excited in some stars, of which extensive ground-based photometry has revealed only one frequency
