• Systematic KMTNet Planetary Anomaly Search. II. Six New q < 2 × 10-4 Mass-ratio Planets
We apply the automated AnomalyFinder algorithm of Paper I to 2018-2019 light curves from the ≃13 deg 2 covered by the six KMTNet prime fields, with cadences Γ ≥ 2 hr -1. We find a total of 11 planets with mass ratios q < 2 × 10 -4, including 6 newly discovered planets, 1 planet that was reported in Paper I, and recovery of 4 previously discovered

• System parameters of three short-period cataclysmic variable stars
Using photometric ULTRACAM observations of three new short-period cataclysmic variables (CVs), we model the primary eclipse light curves to extract the orbital separation, masses, and radii of their component stars. We find donor masses of $0.060\pm 0.008\, {\rm M_\odot }$, $0.042\pm 0.001\, {\rm M_\odot }$, and $0.042\pm 0.004\, {\rm M_\odot }$

• Synthetic galaxy clusters and observations based on Dark Energy Survey Year 3 Data
We develop a novel data-driven method for generating synthetic optical observations of galaxy clusters. In cluster weak lensing, the interplay between analysis choices and systematic effects related to source galaxy selection, shape measurement, and photometric redshift estimation can be best characterized in end-to-end tests going from mock

• Stellar mergers as the origin of the blue main-sequence band in young star clusters
Recent high-quality Hubble Space Telescope photometry shows that the main-sequence stars of young star clusters form two discrete components in the colour-magnitude diagram. On the basis of their distribution in the colour-magnitude diagram, we show that stars of the blue main-sequence component can be understood as slow rotators originating from

• Spi-OPS: Spitzer and CHEOPS confirm the near-polar orbit of MASCARA-1 b and reveal a hint of dayside reflection
Context. The light curves of tidally locked hot Jupiters transiting fast-rotating, early-type stars are a rich source of information about both the planet and star, with full-phase coverage enabling a detailed atmospheric characterisation of the planet. Although it is possible to determine the true spin-orbit angle Ψ - a notoriously difficult

• Spectroscopic study of Ceres' collisional family candidates
Context. Despite the observed signs of large impacts on the surface of Ceres, there is no confirmed collisional family associated with this dwarf planet. After a dynamical and photometric study, a sample of 156 asteroids were proposed as candidate members of a Ceres collisional family. Aims: Our main objective is to study the connection between
